Manta Diablo, Puerto Del Carmen Add Video

Whilst diving a site called Waikiki off Puerto Del Carmen beach, Lanzarote, we encountered a Manta Ray or Manta Diablo, by its Spanish name. It was at 28 metres. It came in to have a look at us 3 times, before we had to carry on with the dive plan. It was like a small airplane. It spanned about 4 metres. This also includes some footage from the MV Tenderete. It's the wreck of a fishing boat about 26 metres long, purposely scuttled for diving near to the harbour entrance at Puerto Calero. Not much life on it yet. It lies upright on the seabed. The bottom of the hull is at 26 metres and all hatch covers have been removed to allow penetration of the rear and forward holds.

I don't know what music's worse. That Spanish stuff or Capercaillie mince! Old Blue Eyes for your next soundtrack! Daughter's a confident wee diver though.
