Brian McG is currently on the Fulmar Platform and was diving with Coatbridge SAC today and told us about one of the Sat Diver's encounters with a Porbeagle Shark. This guy must be one of the clamest individuals I know to react the way he does with a big shark like this coming at you out of the gloom.

The SS Hispania was a Swedish steamship built in 1912. It sank in the Sound of Mull in 1954 after running aground on a reef during a heavy storm. All but the Captain survived. All the crew lowered into life boats and spent an hour trying to persuade Captain Dahn to abandon his vessel. But he stayed and silently saluted his crew as the Hispania sank below the waves.

It lies not far from Kemer and rests at an even keel. The deck is at 30 metres and she is 65 metres long. The other wreck is a small commercial vessel, the MV Hamburg which rests at 24 metres about 1 kilometre from Side Harbour.
